Frequently asked questions
Are these the real High Wycombe driving test routes?
The DVSA stopped publishing official test routes in 2010, so nobody can promise the exact route your examiner will choose. These 2 routes are built from the roads around High Wycombe test centre and approved in the DriveSidekick app, so they cover the junctions, roundabouts and road types examiners use locally.
Are the High Wycombe test routes really free?
Yes. Every route on this page is free to view, download and drive. There is no sign-up, no payment and no limit on downloads.
How do I put a High Wycombe test route on my iPhone?
Open a route and tap "Open in Apple Maps" to load it as a multi-stop journey, or "Open in Google Maps". Apple Maps can't import GPX files, but apps like Google My Maps (via the KML download), OsmAnd and most sat-navs can.
Which GPX apps work with these routes?
The GPX files contain both a route and a track, so they work with TomTom, Garmin, OsmAnd, Organic Maps, Locus, gpx.studio, Komoot and most other sat-nav or mapping apps. We also offer KML, GeoJSON, TCX and CSV.
What is the pass rate at High Wycombe?
The pass rate at High Wycombe was 51% in 2024/25 according to DVSA statistics. See the full breakdown in our High Wycombe test centre guide.
